All the staff were delightful, the breakfast buffet is superb, with scrambled eggs- new praise this year for Erhard and Giselle Thurm's enterprising Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels ), a wonderful mixture of gemutlich local style and tasteful Latin flair. With its flower-girt balconies and neat chalet style, it looks typically Bavarian: but Giselle is a former Brazilian iceskating champion, and at dinner the theme evenings, with appropriate buffet, can be Brazilian, Bavarian or Italian. Newly renovated, and with a 'million-dollar view' of the royal castle of Neuschwanstein, the Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )is set back from the main road, so the sound most likely to wake you is the clank of cowbells. A new building, the Residenz, with six junior suites, has just been added; the Landhaus, also quite new, has high-quality bedrooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) and suites, and luxury bathrooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms). In the original Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels ), rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) are also good, but most have only a shower. The dining rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) are cosy, `the dinners are excellent (wonderful local fish). The Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )belongs to a group called Ludwig Musical Hotels, and weekly in its Wintergarten/bar area there is live music, dancing and a fashion show. It is also a Wellvital Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )and has this year expanded its beauty farm. Next door is a thermal spa centre with themed saunas and plunge pools where twice a week no swimsuits are allowed. Children are welcomed. The Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )can arrange tickets for the musical about the life of mad King Ludwig, in the historical old town of Fussen nearby: its theatre has music and sets up to the best Broadway standards.
