Excellent food in dining room also facing gardens: outdoor eating in fine weather. Parking.

Set amid Cotes-du-Rhone vineyards between Orange and Gigondas, with views to the Dentelles de Montmirail, this unassuming and very vice restaurant-with-rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms), in a converted farmhouse, is 'enthusiastically run by owner Henri Hertzog and his wife, Marie-Laure; their son, Bernard, is chef. Gault Millau praises the cuisine sincere, eg, rabbit in red wine; monkfish with garlic cream. You can eat in the small flowery garden, in the house, or in an attractively renovated barn (dinners are served only on Saturday). Breakfasts come with `delicious home-made jams. The public rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms), including a small lounge, are in simple Provencal style. Our bedroom, though not large, was quite adequate. The building is on a fairly busy road but is quiet at night.
