Down a quiet street in a picturesque Black Forest village amid gorgeous scenery, it is owned and run by the very welcoming Rolf Scherer and his family, and has long pleased Guide readers. Father is chef, daughter is front-of-house. The meals are delicately cooked and presented'. Outside is an ornate bandstand where local musicians perform in summer. Wild- und Wander Wochen, and Lowenzahn Wochen are among the packages offered in spring and summer.
