Lovely, with very pretty, simple rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms). Clean, pleasant, efficient. In this enchanting little town built by the Venetians, and still with an Italianate feel', this civilised little B&B Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )is an old house, ochrewalled and with blue shutters, in the old, traffic-free area of the port, at the foot of Citadel Hill. The cheaper rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) (on the second and third floors) are modestly furnished and lack air-conditioning, but have great views through tall windows over pantiled roofs to the gulf. Smarter rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms), with oriental rugs, wooden floors, antique furniture, a minibar and a vaulted, beamed ceiling, lack the view but are comfortable and elegant. All have an efficient bathroom. Some have a private patio. Some beds may be small. Drinks, and a `very good' breakfast (home-made jam, lovely croissants, newly baked bread, fresh orange juice), are served on a pretty terrace amid geraniums and bougainvillaea. Management was found `taciturn' this year. No restaurant; plenty nearby.

The Spiliopoulos family's quite large, modern Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )(Best Western), I composed of several large, white, balconied buildings, stands on a hill above ancient Olympia, overlooking the lovely valley. A delightful location. A visitor over many years calls it a haven of comfort, with charm and friendliness: tremendous value for a quality of accommodation that we have not seen bettered in our visits to mainland Greece'. It has marble everywhere', and `civilised bedrooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) with effective air-conditioning some rooms (similar to Bandung,Jakarta & Bali hotels - 5 star Hotel ( Jakarta Hotels )rooms) have a split-level sitting area. Many look over the `first-rate swimming pool'. Service is unobtrusive but kind. Drinks prices reasonable. Excellent buffet breakfast. The restaurant and outdoor taverna serve standard Greek food and international dishes. Some upmarket coach tours.
